Job Summary

The purpose/function of this position is to perform program and cross‐program integration of new and existing requirements in Human Lunar Systems (HLS) and Gateway Programs. System integration tasks include assisting in development of requirements, requirements analysis, human rating traceability analysis, cross‐program integration and database maintenance. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a large team of System Engineering and Integration (SE&I) personnel across multiple NASA centers in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist HLS and Gateway requirements development team through requirements analysis for gaps and inconsistencies
  • Assist in human rating requirements analysis, establishing traceability and documenting human rating certification
  • Perform program‐to‐program system integration by coordinating inputs, resolving issues, and providing support to requirements development activities
  • Maintain database of requirements information
  • Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan and with the Quality Assurance Plan, policies and procedures
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance level as determined by the Company and be responsible for completing all assigned training

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
    1. REQUIRED:

A BS degree in Engineering and/or management of logistics and/or supply chains or equivalent technical degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

Experience in requirements management and/or system engineering Experience in system integration

  • DESIRED:

Experience in system engineering Experience with Sharepoint

Experience with NASA human rating requirements

Experience with NASA and/or NASA systems and/or cross‐program integration Experience with ESD, Gateway and/or HLS

  • SKILLS/TRAINING
    • REQUIRED:

Self‐motivated and proactive in integrating/communicating with others without a lot of hands on direction

Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers

Ability to identify integration concerns and gaps in information and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner

Ability to perform cross‐program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel Ability to understand and execute processes and procedures

Ability to learn on the job

Well‐developed skills in both written and verbal communication Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • DESIRED:

Experience with NASA flight certification processes
