SUMMARY: The Strategic Partnerships Manager will report directly to the Chief Business Officer, primarily supporting the company’s activities related to the strategic partnerships we have with partners worldwide. This role is responsible for leading all facets of relationship management and engagement with our strategic partners

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for driving revenue growth and space market segments through partner engagement 

• Provide best in class service as the primary point of contact for our partners

• Maintain expert-level knowledge about our products and our customers’ challenges and opportunities. You will be an expert on designated entities and our mutual roles as partners.

• Organize meetings with relevant stakeholders to manage and facilitate the relationship or the introduction of clients. This includes presetting goals, purposeful agendas and ensuring the execution of SMART follow-up tasks.

• Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of communications with all internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, finance, and product throughout all phases of partnerships.

• Lead strategic partnership meetings and events to record critical details, notes, and action items and keep the CBO apprised.

• Engage the CBO in key strategic, financial, and operational decisions.

• Create and prepare presentations and, where needed, reports, proposals, and materials for internal and external audiences.

• Cultivate relationships among our strategic partners where appropriate.

• Manage and research new brands for partnerships

• Develop and maintain a strategic account plan for each assigned partnership that drives meaningful outcomes and impact.

• Work with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of management internally and externally to strengthen partnerships and share outcomes

• Help create pipelines to find new partners that will ultimately benefit the company’s overall business strategy

• Interface with company counsel and senior leadership in exchange for documents

• Network with potential partners, suppliers, contractors, and investors

• Ensure compliance with document distribution protocols

• Prepare weekly updates for CBO

• Perform other duties as required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or advanced degrees in Business Administration, Finance, Account Management, or related field of study and a minimum of 3-10 years of directly relevant experience in business development, investor relations, or strategic partnerships.

• Good understanding and experience with CRM software, Zoho highly desired. Other relevant platforms include MS Dynamics and NetSuite.

  • Able to travel for meetings and conferences (10-20% travel) 

• Proficiency and deep attention to detail in both writing and spreadsheets.

• Experience with managing existing partnerships and finding new ones.

• Competitive self-starter who can hit the ground running on day 1. You gather and share information with teammates, working collaboratively and effectively with teams across different countries and time zones.

• Demonstrated experience handling sensitive written and verbal information

• Establish a good rapport with all contacts. Motivate others to accomplish objectives and build consensus.

• Definition and negotiation of partnership goals, terms and agreements experience 

• Experience in strategic planning, strategic account engagement, consultative sales, leading negotiations, and partner contracts

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

 Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
