Multimedia & Technical Applications Specialist

  • This position will serve as task leader for the contract.
  • Candidate must have the credentials to obtain a DOD admin card including CompTIA Security+ and a computing environment certification in the field for which they support.
  • The candidate is required to perform video editing, computer graphics, multimedia presentations, DMUC (DoD Mobility Unclassified Capability), VTC, SVTC, and information technology support.
  • Video Editing: The candidate must perform video editing to modify videos into multiple formats and sizes, deleting clips, adding clips, inserting transitions, inserting text, speeding up and/or slowing down timing for specific needs that may be required (presentations; pentagon meetings; etc). The candidate must be able to utilize Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe Media Encoder CC and the Digital Juice Editors Toolkit.
  • Computer Graphics: The candidate will be required to have the expertise to create and edit high-level computer graphic presentations, posters, brochures, exhibit materials and other printed work as needed. The candidate will also need to be able to prepare material layouts with formatting for training materials, team templates, logos, awards, project schedules, spreadsheets, forms and reports.
  • DMUC (DoD Mobility Unclassified Capability): The candidate will utilize the DISA Storefront and MORPHEUS portals to submit TSRs (Telecommunications Service Request) for user mobility services, request user mobility accounts, set up and troubleshoot: blackberry, enterprise mobility devices, iPhones, iPads and MiFis. The candidate must enroll, activate, and troubleshoot Defense Enterprise Mobility devices for OPM-MAS users.
  • The candidate will manage the OPM-MAS Verizon account for users. Duties include Verizon Portal management, SIM Management, Call forwarding, Voicemail Management, device user profile information, international data and voice coverage for users traveling OCONUS TDY and device activation for iPhones, iPads, and MiFi Jetpacks.
  • VTC and SVTC: The candidate must set up and operate video teleconferencing equipment (VTC and SVTCs) including testing, establishing bridges and troubleshooting as needs arise.
  • Information Technology Support: The candidate will be required to register new equipment in NODEREG, image and configure workstations and laptop computers in the Microsoft Windows Active Directory Environment utilizing the CONUS SCCM images on the PicaNET Build VLAN. All workstations and laptops need to be certified in accordance with NEC guidelines prior to deployment. The candidate will monitor and request scans of OPM-MAS workstations and laptops using NETREG to ensure that the computers are not quarantined or disconnected from PICANet.
  • The candidate will be required to operate and troubleshoot hardware such as, Blackberry devices, iOS Devices including iPhones and iPads, MiFi Devices, Plotters, PC Platform, Printers, Public Key Infrastructure (CAC), and Video teleconferencing (VTC & SVTCs) equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to work with Public Key infrastructure (Common Access Card) for the sending and receiving of digitally signed and/or encrypted email, digitally signing of documents and access to government websites. Knowledge on the retrieval and installation process of users expired encryption keys for the viewing of old encrypted emails is required.
  • The candidate will utilize the following software: Adobe Acrobat Professional DC, Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Digital Juice, HP Scanner and Plotter software, Microsoft Excel 2013, Microsoft PowerPoint 2013, Microsoft Publisher 2013, Microsoft Visio Professional 2013, Microsoft Word 2013, MobileIron@Work; and the following Video editing software: Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe Media Encoder CC and the Digital Juice Editors Toolkit.
  • The candidate will utilize the following Information Technology Software: Active Directory User Manager, Adobe Connect, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Axway Desktop Validator, BitLocker Disk Encryption, Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client, Google Chrome, IBM Lotus Sametime Connect, Java Runtime Environment, McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Windows Media Player, MobileIron Mobile@Work Mobility, Mozilla FireFox, NetReg, NodeReg, Safari, and Webmail application.
  • In addition to the aforementioned skills, the candidate will be required to operate graphics hardware including a variety of printing equipment including plotters as well as a laser cutter and engraver.
  • The candidate will organize and manage tasks on a priority basis both with the technology support and graphics support.
